Memory game. A random number is displayed, which you must repeat correctly. An extra digit is then added, until the number is seven digits long. You must correctly repeat all seven digits to win. It plays random bursts of music as a distraction.

Margor, the Cave Beast

You are in an underground cave system, and you must shoot Margor with a bow and arrow. Margor will kill you if you enter his cave, but you can smell when he is nearby. Draughts indicate you are near a bottomless put, and flapping sounds mean bats are nearby who will randomly transport you to another location.

Yeti

Notes

  1. The machine code routine in Machine Code Joystick Routine (p. 59-61) does not work properly, the expected values are out by one. Changing the values makes it work until Run/Stop & Restore are pressed, then the values change by three and the program fails again.
  2. A slightly different version of Biorhythms (p. 78-80) was published in both 50 Outstanding Programs for the VIC 20 and Zap! Pow! Boom! Arcade Games for the VIC-20 (US).
