Happy Computer (DE)

Happy Computer was a German multi-format magazine published by Markt & Technik Verlag. The first issue was titled Hobby Computer, then it was renamed Happy Computer from the second issue onwards. It was published monthly from November 1983 until February 1990. 64'er Magazin was launched as a Commodore-only spin-off in April 1984. After the final issue, Happy Computer was relaunched as Computer Live.

Board game. Try to move one of your diamonds to the top of the screen before the computer moves one of its pieces to the bottom. Move your pieces forward either vertically or diagonally. Each player can only move onto squares that are the same colour as those that your opponent is on.

Controls:
Enter the YX coordinates of the piece that you want to move (row followed by column).

Baseball game. Press F1 to start. Then press either F3 or F5 to move your player for the strike. Hit F3 or F5 once the ball is near your bat and keep holding F3 or F5 to make your player move. Make sure you stop moving once you are at a flag (diagonally at the corners) or you will be out once the ball has been returned to the first red player.

  3. Brennball (84-01) appears to be a slightly modified copy of a commercial game published by Commodore in 1982.
  4. Tacco (84-10) was republished with permission in 64er (86-03SI).
